Our Bed and Breakfast's Policies
Please review our policies to enhance your enjoyment of our bed and breakfast.
Check-In 3:00pm. Early and late arrivals by appointment please.
Check-Out Check-Out time is 11:00 am, but we are happy to store your luggage for you, if needed, before your departure. Or you are welcome to hang around the living room or relax in the garden if you need some extra time. All we ask is that you vacate the room so that we can get it ready for our next guest.
Misc. Policies
- We ask guests to observe the Alaskan custom of removing shoes in the entry way before stepping on the carpet.
- Smoking is permitted out of doors only.
- There is a guest phone and guest computer with high-speed internet in the kitchen/breakfast nook area. Local calls are free. You must use a calling card for long-distance. Guests are welcome to receive phone calls at 907-279-3278 and faxes at 907-279-9862.
- Guests may use the microwave or kettle in the kitchen to make tea, instant coffee, hot cocoa, etc. For safety reasons, guests are not permitted to cook in the kitchen.
- Guests are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages for their personal consumption. Please be respectful of other guests and drink responsibly.
- Laundry facilities are not available but there are several coin-op Laundromats within a 5 or 10-minute drive.
- Freezer space is available for temporary storage of fish and game.
- Well-behaved children are welcome; however house is not child-proofed and may not be suitable for toddlers and young children. Childcare not provided.
Your business is very important to us. Although we understand that changes to your plans can happen, we are a small business with a short season and that forces us to be rather restrictive in our cancellation policy. Our business depends greatly on advance reservations and cancellations can be very costly.
- A deposit equal to one night's stay or 50% of your total (whichever is more) is required to secure your reservation.
- If you cancel 2 weeks or more out from your reserved arrival date, you will refunded your deposit minus a $25 per room per night re-booking fee.
- No deposits will be refunded for reservations canceled less that 2 weeks before scheduled arrival.
- "No-Shows" will be charged in full.
- As a courtesy for unexpected cancellations, if we can book your room(s) for any or all of the days you have canceled, you will only be charged a $25 re-booking fee.
